Drumkilty Valhalla at Corsemaul "Hal"

I am very proud of Hal.

His success in the show ring has giving me so much pleasure, and to say I am proud of him is an understatement. He won the Puppy stakes at Scottish Breeds Championship Show at just seven months old. Hal won well throughout his time in puppy. He was not shown in junior due to personal commitments, but came out in yearling and won all but two of his classes, he won out of Graduate in six shows, then went on to win two big Limit classes and gained his studbook number at two and a half years old. All these shows were Championship shows. It is not Hal's show success that fills me with pride but his second to none beautiful nature which he passes on to his children. I have had so much pleasure watching his children in the ring, and seeing the pleasure and pride of the owners of Hal's children get from his offspring.

Some of Hal's show Critiques

SKC Championship Show

LD (14) 1 Thomson's Drumkilty Valhalla at Corsemaul (ai). Gorgeous mid gold eyecatching boy, in lovely coat and super condition. Attractive head with kind dark eye and soft expression. Correct length of upper arm and balanced construction front and rear. Strong neck leading to well placed shoulders, good spring of rib, short coupled and excellent turn of stifle. Topline level which he held on the move, with a good length of stride

LD (10) 1. Thomson's Drumkilty Valhalla At Corsemaul (AI) I did well for this boy when he was a youngster and I am not disappointed with him today. He stood out in this lovely class. Super masculine head, kind expression, dark eyes, good reach of neck and correct upper arm angulation. Well boned, good tight feet, well bent stifle, correct tailset. Carried tail level both standing and on the move and move he did driving from the rear. A good honest dog who pushed hard in the challenge.

(Left) Hal giving a young boy a cuddle after the young lad fell off his chair. Hal went over to him and licked him, then let the young boy cuddle into him. Hal had never met this young boy before, nor does he come into contact with very young children very often, yet he still wanted to give him a cuddle in the only way he knew, by given him a lick and letting the boy cuddle into him until he stopped crying. I am so very proud of Hal's beautiful and loving temperament.
